Fair Trade tells the story of Walter Wilson (Kevin Janssens) and Robin De Rover (Ella-June Henrard). Over the years both police officers, once full of good intentions and noble ideals but at the end disappointed in the judicial system, have gradually fallen into corruption. Too many times they saw months of work go up in thin air because of procedural errors, the cunning of unscrupulous lawyers, and dubious decisions by judges who have their heads in the clouds. Their illegal ventures become riskier and more dangerous for themselves and for their loved ones.
